Why should I have counselling?

Some times people worry  if counselling is for them or if their problem is too silly. If it is worry you then it is important as it maybe impacting on your quality of life.

Counselling is not expensive when you compare it to a good meal or a night out on the town !

I am offering a FREE  10 minute  Skype video session  to ensure you feel comfortable working together , if you don’t wish to proceed then thats ok. Counselling can take one session or more to reflect on what has caused your feeling to overwhelm you.

Who is counselling for – it is for anyone who is feeling stressed , bereaved, anxious, depressed, struggling with a relationship or may be you are suffering from a drug or alcohol issue that is nt impacting on your life ?

Counselling can help when you feel you are going round in circles over a decision, need to talk to about changes in your life or you may be feeling under stress, anxious or depressed. 

Counselling is not about giving you advice. It is a skilled process, which will enable you to reflect upon your experience and will empower you to find the necessary skills and resources to put you back in control of your life.

Many people find that they benefit from sharing their troubles with a trained counsellor as it allows them to talk about their problems, thoughts and feelings without being judged or criticised. It anables you to re focus on your life goals .

What can I expect in my counselling session?

You will be treated with respect and be allowed to talk and express yourself without contradiction, judgment or advice. 

I  will keep all details completely confidential at all times.
Professional boundaries will be kept and the session will be without interruptions.
